Meanwhile, Kirge gets back on his feet. Ichago informs him that his attacks are stronger that Uryu’s but Kirge is not convinced. Soon, Kirge discovers that he is letting out confidential information and says he is determined to conquer Ichigo. He starts with the Letzt Stil. This is what Uryu used to defeat Mayuri, it is a Quincy glove starter. Urahara and Pensche save Dondochakka. Urahara feels there is something around.

Seemingly, Quincies are ready to hit on Soul Society with their revenge. This is probably going to be a heated match between the team and the Gotei 13 team and Soul Society might bear the damages.

Ichago and Kirge’s fight is building up in Hollow Land. Kirge is of course using the power up gloves but unfortunately his rival is Ichago who cannot be out transformed or powered up, at least not on Bleach. Apparently, Uryu and Kirge’s dad were not associated with Vandenreich but were survivors of Quincies hence could be respected by Vandenreich. Maybe it is time Uryu got a power up himself. Uryu and his dad maybe aware of something to do with Vandenreich’s attack plans.

After Kirge admits he knows Ichigo, he and his assistants launch an attack on Kirge with their Quincy bows. This fight is brought before Vandenreich headquarters and he decides as king that time to raid Soul Society has just come as Ichigo is committed against Kirge. These are events in Hueco Mundo. On the other side in Gotei 13 headquarters, a closed door meeting is on between Mayuri and Yamamoto and nations gathered to kill 28,000 Rukongai citizens. The nations were gathered to do the killings so as to balance the numbers of the people missing. The meeting gets hot when Mayuri is accused of being responsible over the current happening by Yamamoto which he denies. He alleges that the problem with Vandenreich started with Yamamoto’s failure to eliminate the king of the Quincies a thousand years ago.

What the chapter affirms is that Quincies and Vandenreich are one and the same and are out to revenge their near-annihilation with Shinigamis. Because Yamamoto could not kill Quincy king during the war, now revenge is on. Yamamoto and Mayuri are however trying to keep this away from their captains and lieutenants but the latter are already suspicious. Internal conflict between Shinigami is anticipated.

Mayuri shares the invincibility of Vandenreich with others at HQ 13 and is still not able to understand the reason behind such unexpected gain of power. Since they do not have any idea about the Vandenreich game plan they have no choice except playing defensive.

There is no critical leap of incidents in this chapter. Wait and watch is the only option left for the followers as there is no scope for speculation.

Captain Kirge grants life to those captives who bend down in front of him, rest will face death. Kirge tastes the guts of arrancars in the shape of their resisting the shameful death. He orders his followers to beat them only to be produced in front of the King. Suddenly, most of the Kirge’s men start falling on ground beheaded by a ring that came from Harribel’s heroes.

Yet to come: Hollow-land has new rulers and Ichigo fights bravely to save the fraccions, who were once his adversaries. Ichigo and friends are back in action living up to the expectations of hero lovers. The origin of Vandenreich people and their reason for overpowering the hollow land is yet to be found out. Adventure is hoped to be going much more than witnessing old faces and innumerable killings.

Back in Ichigo‘s room, Ichigo’s and friends speak about how to reply to Nel and Pensche’s (who also tried dropping in on Ichigo) demand help. Pensche reveals that Harribel and their buddy Dondochakka have been captured by the mystery assailants. The group agrees to venture in to Hueco Mundo again. Uryu states that the cannot go this time and Ichigo understands and jokes around. Urahara then shows up at the window offering to arrange transportation to Hueco Mundo.

In the Vandenreich’s castle, the underlings tidy up Luder and Ivan’s body. A white hair man examines Ivan’s medallion and reports to the “king” that Ivan tried to make use of it but failed to get Ichigo’s bankai. The “king” thinks Ichigo and friends will come to Hueco Mundo and orders a unit to look for and capture them. Somewhere in Hueco Mundo, a Vandenreich officer is telling a group of hooded people to march.

Sasakibe had a bankai? We suppose that is not surprising given that they looks kind of elderly and is the Vice-Captain of the 1st division, but on the other hand didn’t Soul-Society arc Ichigo defeat him in like a second? We guess having a bankai doesn’t mean that a shinigami is strong? We are a bit disappointed now that they mentioned Sasakibe had a bankai but killed him off without him ever showing the bankai.

Soon the bad men come on scene and they disappear again. This chapter simply reveals two new faces and that bad men can be extremely violent. They can do bankai, use Quincy attacks and scare shinigami bankais except Ichigo. They use shadow portals to move around and they detest Soul Society. At the moment, we can only guess who the bad men are because we still don’t know.

Back at the Vandenreich fortress, the leader kills both Luders Friegen (the man whose arm the leader already blew off) & Ivan because they didn’t like their progress reports. A subordinate wonders if killing Ivan was a bad idea since arrancars are valuable as soldiers, but the leader states that they can get as lots of arrancars as they wishes because Hueco Mundo is already his territory & reveals that they has captured Harribel.

So Ivan & the other man (Luders…?) appear for like 2-3 chapters & they get killed off by the main bad man?

This is the final arc of Bleach & we require people to pay attention to it, so what should be do? We have an idea! We’ll introduce some random new characters & kill them off quickly. This way the designs don’t go to waste, & sudden deaths = drama = more readers! It is win-win!!!

So Ivan & the other man fundamentally meant nothing, unless of coursework Kubo brings them back from the dead which would probably makes things even worse, so lets forget about those. It seems that Ivan was at least part arrancar though, but then they got killed off before anything else can be speculated. The fascinating bits in this chapter were Nel & Harribel. Given that this is final arc, Kubo will probably bring back all of the non-deceased characters that they has not forgotten about. If Harribel was the strongest arrancar left, then it is no surprise that the Vandenreich could take over Hueco Mundo. The Aizen arc has shown that even top-ranked arrancars are not that strong when compared to the elite shinigamis, & the new bad guys appear to be stronger than shinigamis. With Nel’s appearance, we guess Ichigo might go on a trip to Hueco Mundo one time again.

Now that Nel & Harribel are back, perhaps we’ll see Grimmjow soon.

Yamamoto agrees just as Ichigo accepts to continue being a Substitue Soul Reaper. Rukia see Ichigo off, recalling their time together and silently thanks him. Ichigo smiles and tells Rukia “See ya later” before returning to Karakura Town where he is greeted by his friends and family.

However, Ichigo decides he will trust Soul Society for aiding him in protecting the people close to him, and continues fighting Ginjo alone. Both Ichigo and Ginjo release their Bankai and fight just as the Soul Reapers Captains heard Ichigo’s resolve.

Meanwhile, Rukia fights against Riruka and gets her body trapped in a stuffed animal due to Riruka’s new powers. She attempts to fight with Kido, but it accidentally implodes inside herself. Riruka starts to reveal her past and Xcution’s past, which gets her distracted enough for Rukia to touch her zanpakuto. Unable to dodge her, Riruka hits Rukia with her Fullbring and disappears, leaving her to collapse. Back to Byakuya’s fight, Tsukishima is able to overwhelm him and manages to inflict a serious injury. However, Byakuya shoots out his bankai from his hand, and it pierces Tsukishima’s chest. Byakuya thanks him for an exciting battle and Tsukishima falls to the ground.
