Bleach is Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Noriaki “Tite” Kubo. The manga has been labeled in the Japanese manga anthology Weekly Shonen Jump. Bleach is substantial media franchise where it has included a TV series, aside from the print, which is produced by Studio Pierrot in Japan.

Bleach revolves around the story of the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki. Ichigo obtain a special power called Soul Reaper, or Shinigami in Japanese. The acquired power literally means “Death God”, and thus Ichigo Kurosaki is the death personification of Grim Reaper. With his newly acquired powers, Ichigo Kurosaki is obliged to accept the duty to defend the humans from the evil spirits. Also, as the Death God, Ichigo is responsible for guiding the departed souls into the afterlife.
