Ichigo finally comes back to Soul Society to finish some unknown business. Uurahara checks up on Riruka at Urahara’s shop in the morning. However, she finds out that she had already left. In the meanwhile, Ichigo shows up rather surprisingly in Soul Society and all the captains except Kurotuchi and Ukitake deicde to give him an audience. The Vizards like Kensei and Hiroko all have their posts back as captain. Yamamoto decides to thank Ichigo for his diligence; however, Ichigo says that he is not here to be praised. Instead, Ichigo is here to bring back Ginjou’s body which Renji had previously brought back and bury Ginjou in the real world. The other captains and Hiroko argue that Ginjou is a very terrible villain and bothered Ichigo’s family numerous times. Ichigo, though, says that Ginjou is simply a shinigami representative. Later, Kyoraku discovers Ukitake just sitting outside in a field. Kyoraku tells Ukitake that Ichigo said that he can trust Soul Society and even relented to maintain his badge of representation. Ukitake and Kyorarku then both agree that Ichigo had finally grown up. In the real world, though, Riruka stands on top of a building contemplating about Ichigo, Chad, Orihime, and Xcution before disappearing.
This is definitely a good ending chapter for the Fullbring arc. The series will go on a hiatus afterwards for about three weeks. While looking back through the story, the initial and middle portions of the Fullbring Arc were not too bad when Ginjou and Tsukishima were bothering Ichigo. However, at the end, it seemed like Kubo had finally ran out of patience or ideas and simply have given up. At the end of the arc, Ichigo finally got his powers back which are the important thing. Ginjou, the main bad guy, is finally dead and the other Xcution members who survived probably will not have to be seen for quite a while. And for the Shinigami/Ukitake badge scheme, it seemed as if no plot development was made regarding it. Ichigo simply decided to take everything. There might not be anymore Fullbring business, besides that Orihime and Chad have Fullbrings. However, the series should probably make better use of the hiatus and develop a better story.
